Huka Entertainment is proud to have worked with the Surfrider Foundation, a non-profit grassroots organization dedicated to the preservation of the world’s oceans and beaches.
Shortly after Tortuga Music Festival, a conservation-driven event held in Ft. Lauderdale, we worked with the Surfrider Foundation to clean the Florida coastline- an effort that removed 100 pounds of trash off the beach. Our relationship expanded when Huka’s Chief Executive Officer, Evan Harrison joined the Surfrider Foundation’s National Board of Directors.
The Surfrider Foundation is the largest network of coastal defenders. Their activists work on a local level collaborating with the support of national policy and science experts to gather the resources needed to ensure coastal protection. Campaign, program, and educational initiatives are carried out in many local communities across the US. Get involved by joining a Surfrider chapter near you.
“Huka’s deep love of nature aligns perfectly with Surfrider’s values, and we’re looking forward to engaging with the music industry to further Surfrider’s mission in a meaningful way.”
